Description
Black Iron (aka malleable iron) is a strong steel allow that is inexpensive to produce. While it does have corrosion restistant properties, its not the best at standing up against the corrosive powers we encounter in the oilfield. For an affordable quick fix - go with black iron. For something longer lasting - steel or stainless steel are better options.
